Entertaiment is a broad category of entertainment that includes activities intended to entertain an audience and amuse them. It is a common means of escape from the daily stresses of life and provides opportunities for recreation, relaxation, and diversion. Entertainment is often socially or culturally based, providing pleasure and enjoyment through events, performances, ceremonies, festivals, or satire. Entertainment can be found in a wide range of media and is constantly changing, as new technologies provide new ways to create, record, or broadcast.
